Class guidelines for a safe & enjoyable Yoga experience:

*Arrive early * Have a stomach that is neither too full nor too empty * Wear loose, comfortable clothes to class and be prepared to practice barefoot * Refrain from using scented products
* Do the best you can in class and don’t overdo it. If it hurts, you’re taking it too far *
* Always, always go at your own pace and respect the limits of your body *
* Before participating, please check with your physician if you have chronic health concerns or are recovering from a recent injury *

Morning

6:30-7:30 (AL) Early Morning Yoga Asanas with Mainjurii
In this class we will do basic yoga asanas and the yogic dance exercise Kaoshikii. This dance exercise enhances emotional well-being and was especially designed for women. RSVP (by phone:

7:15-8:30 (MC) Gentle Yoga with Linda Peete
This Gentle Yoga class will feature yoga breathing, basic yoga asana (poses), balance, and relaxation. The class is designed for those with little or no yoga experience. Gentle Yoga’s mind-bodyspirit integration is a great way to begin your Sunday!

8-9 (FC) Gentle Flow with Joelle Walden
This class will focus on some breathing techniques and will then introduce yoga postures, linking movement and breath.

9:30-10:30 (MC) Vinyasa Flow with Don Briskin
Vinyasa Flow Yoga involves linking Yoga postures (asanas) together in a smooth flowing sequence coordinated with the breath. This Yoga practice will involve standing, prone, seated, and supine postures coordinated in a way that promotes flexibility, strength, poise, and yet relaxation at the same time.

10-11 (TBOT) Breathing 101 with Rachel Hills
“Life is in the breath: a person who only half breathes, half lives.” (Yoga Proverb) Explore one of the most basic yet most challenging Yoga practices...breathing fully and naturally the way your body was designed to breathe. This workshop will include a discussion of breathing anatomy and plenty of time to breathe and to ask questions. 10:15-11:30 (AL) Bhakti Yoga—the Path of Spiritual Devotion with Dada Madhuvidyananda
How to feel and cultivate divine love in your daily life. Talk by yogic monk and teacher Dada Madhuvidyananda. Arrive at 10am. RSVP (by phone: 344-6299 or email: info@anandaliina.org) is

11-12 (MC) Kids + Parents Yoga with Don Briskin
Yoga postures will be explored in a playful manner that both children and their parents will enjoy. Many Yoga postures are based upon animals and plants in the world around us, and the practice of these postures can be done in a way that allows for creative expression, exercise, and fun!

Afternoon

12-1 (AL) Mantra Chanting and Meditation with Dada Madhuvidyananda
Mantra chanting with a simple yogic dance (Kiirtan) followed by collective meditation. RSVP (by phone: 344-6299 or email: info@anandaliina.org) is required—space is limited.

12:30-1:30 (MC) Flow with Emily Sawlaw
Experience yoga poses that will improve your balance, strength, and flexibility. We will transition through sequences that will involve standing, seated, and supine postures to develop endurance and to leave you feeling revived and relaxed at the end.

1-2:30 (LYC) Introduction to Hatha Yoga with Deb Lister
This class introduces the fundamentals of yoga through the practice of poses, breathwork, and relaxation techniques. A discussion of the history and benefits of yoga will be covered.

2-3 (MC) Guided Relaxation/Extended Savasana with Rachel Hills
Experience your body’s relaxation response during this guided relaxation and extended Savasana
session—an ideal way to refresh yourself after a busy day of Yoga or other activities. The session will also include a discussion of the benefits of relaxation. You may want to bring along a pillow and/or a blanket so you can make yourself extra-comfortable!
